Understand J1772 and NACS before requesting fit support
J1772 and NACS describe vehicle-side connector paths, but connector names alone do not confirm fit. Vehicle model, adapter direction, charger rating, wall-side outlet and document needs should be reviewed together.
Connector names are only the starting point
A connector term helps describe the vehicle-side connection, but the full review also includes wall-side power, use case, cable route, rating and exact-model documents.
This diagram is educational. It does not prove product fit, certification scope or adapter approval.
Adapter direction needs care
If an adapter is involved, direction matters. A phrase like “J1772 to NACS” can mean different things depending on the vehicle side and charger side. Do not assume that any adapter path works in both directions.
Request-led rule: send the vehicle model, charger connector, adapter direction, outlet context and target market before relying on an adapter path.

Start with compatibility when the connector or adapter direction is unclear. Use the Document Center when the question is about manuals, labels or certificate references.
